Nervous System Focus

Your nervous system is at the center of how you experience life.

Every movement you make, sensation you feel, and response your body has to the world around you involves communication between your brain and body.

At Endwell Chiropractic, we believe understanding that communication gives us valuable insight into how your body is functioning and adapting to the demands of everyday life.

That's why our approach goes beyond simply asking, "Where does it hurt?"

As part of your initial evaluation, we may use INSiGHT™ scanning technology to establish a baseline and gather objective information about patterns related to nervous-system regulation and muscular activity. When clinically appropriate, follow-up scans can help us compare changes over time alongside your symptoms, examination findings, and progress.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

HRV measures the variation in time between heartbeats. Because this variation is influenced by the autonomic nervous system, HRV can provide information about autonomic regulation and how your body is responding to physiological demands.

Three Different Views. One Bigger Picture.

OUR INSiGHT ASSESSMENT MAY INCLUDE THREE NON-INVASIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Surface Electromyography (sEMG)

Surface EMG measures electrical activity in muscles along the spine. It allows us to observe patterns of muscle activation, including areas where muscles may be working differently from one side of the body to the other.

Thermal Scanning

Thermal scanning measures temperature patterns along the spine. Skin temperature is influenced in part by autonomic nervous-system activity, so these measurements can provide another piece of information for Dr. Amanda to consider as part of the overall evaluation.

Look Beyond the Symptom.

No single scan tells the entire story.

Instead, we look at your scan findings together with your health history, goals, physical examination, and other clinically appropriate assessments to develop an individualized picture of your health.

This allows us to establish a starting point, make thoughtful recommendations, and objectively reassess certain findings throughout your care.

Because at Endwell, we're interested in more than how you feel on one particular day.

We want to understand how you're functioning—and help you build a foundation for living well through every stage of life.
